| It is a brilliant pub, two sides to it, one side where you can sit and chat in peace and the other where there is a juke box and pool tabes etc. Also has a family room and pub garden. Friendly and welcoming bar staff and bouncers. The manager, Pete, looks tired permanently though. This could be as he is extremely overworked and is denied days off, many times working a full 7 days a week and has no holidays (not through choice). Something I think should be looked into by the owners if they wish it to be kept run in the great way it has been by Pete. Never any trouble in there, many of the scum of the area have been barred and remain bared.
