| Having stayed away from the Black Greyhound because of the poor state of the place i was pleased to hear that it had been taken over and refurbished so i decided to try it again --- what a difference, the pub is clean and tidy with new English staff and chef cooking traditional english pub food. We were welcomed by the new operations director and shown to our table by a very polite yung lady who took our drinks order and came back to take our food order a short while later. The food was lovely, freshly cooked and the chips were out of this world, great food at a good price and clean and tidy, oh and the beer was pretty good too !
