| I went to this pub with two mates on the off chance. We found the place to be warm and friendly with a good fire going. The beer was reasonably priced for the area and was kept well. We ordered our food and went into the resaurant which was packed (on a Tuesday Lunchtime) and found our table. When the food arrived we all found it to be well coooked and presented by efficient staff. Also we noticed that the Wine was exceptionally well priced (No great mark-ups like some places) It was a thoroughly pleasurable experience and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.
