| I am sorry to say the Green Man (Long Itch) has fallen by the wayside!Unfortunately Mark has lost interest & the pride he had in his beers. Not only the beer but the pub is falling appart at the seems,the toilets are a disgrace.The central heating hasnt worked since 2008 and the one fire that is lit isnt enough to heat the place(so bring a good coat). Some of the regular customers have mooved to warmer climes & probably wont return. Mark needs to spend a lot more time BEHIND the bar & a lot less time drinking & annoying the customers he has left. | We have just returned from our second visit to the green man pub this year, where we stayed with our caravan and found the proprieters mark and sharon very pleasant, very polite and friendly people. We would highly recommend this pub/caravan site to all our friends and have already booked for next year, the caravan site is basic but well maintained and you have full use of the public house toilets during opening hours. Mark is very inviting and greets all his campers with a smile in the morning and nothing is too much trouble for him to do. Thank you for your kind hospitality during our stay. | I have always liked this pub but myself and my lady friends have felt very uncomfortable of late on our visits here as the current landlord makes disgusting perverted comments and his general attitude is somewhat Jekyll and Hyde aka fake one moment, man on a power trip the next. I think he should remember that many of us have been in this village a long time, derogatory statements will get him nowhere. I will not be visiting again in the near future.
