| We visited last week Wednesday 8th August we were very impressed with the overall look of the pub and outside facilities as my partner is a smoker we felt that the owners had put a lot of thought into providing facilities for their customers that smoke. Today Wednesday 15th found ourselves with a day off work and as it was raining thought of the outside facilities on offer so before traveling 14 miles, I thought I would call and see what time the food was being served lunch time we were told 3pm so we arrived at 2.35pm and was told by the barman that the kitchen was closed in no uncertain terms. As you can imagine we were very disappointed having wasted our time, did not argue the point just had a drink and left, Poor or lack of management. You must be loosing customer 10 fold we would have spent approx £40 on food and drink, times that by 10 it's a no brainer as far as we can see.
