| We went for a family meal to this place for my mums 60th birthday and would not wish the food on anyone. The prices are horrendous and the service is diabolical. Its new owners seem to care more about the posh motors they own and less about the customers. Our bill came to £189 for 6 people and they had the cheek to say we were 40p short, we were embarassed and will not darken their doors again. Beware! | I stayed at the Royal Arms last weekend with my husband and I must say the service, food and surroundings were splendid in every respect. The staff and family who run the restaurant were extremely friendly and catered to our every need, the food was delicious and the cleanliness of the place was excellent.
