| This pub was one of the best in the region, very good food, especially pretty and in a lovely location. A true rural gem , period Pub. Today the present occupants have been present for about 3-4 years and appear set on attempts to convert it to a house. With in a year or so of arrival they closed their doors and at the time we frequented the pub regularly. There are obvious financial benfits to them if they can sell as a house. They make no attempt to open and have placed a gate accross the public car park. It is a sad trajedy AND WILL BE A REFLECTION ON US SHOULD THIS LOVELY INN BE LOST. Please help us by writing to Dover commentsandcomplaints@dover.gov.uk council with complaints in order that the Inn can be given over to new and enthusiastic publicans and we can all enjoy its ambience once again[Report for Removal] | Rupert Phillips Wootton Kent |
