| I love this place, right on the Quay, great after a walk along the Wivenhoe Trail from Colchester.In summer, often someone has a guitar outside, boats and swans, lively chatter, idyllic! In winter, still popular, great ambience, local thespians and artistic types can be spotted here. Friendly when I was there on Christmas Day! Beer lovely, old building with a couple of historic local photographs and other bits on display.
