| I think Jane is just a little deluded here... We are regulars at The Rosebud and can rarely every find fault!! For a small pub like this to actually HAVE a website is just an added bonus. The menus are changed so often i would imagine it is difficult to try and keep the website updated so maybe you should call ahead next time!! As for telling people not to eat at the Rosebud that is just plain wrong and i really do think you need to grow up woman!!! Want a response, try CALLING or putting PEN TO PAPER!! To Tom @ The Rosebud, keep up the fantastic work and dont let people like that get you down!! | Myself and three friends ate lunch here 2 weeks ago, the food was below average pub food, the menu available bore little resemblance to the online menu. | The Freshest Food I have seen, eaten & enjoyed in Essex. The food menu changes all the time with the locally sourced produce & they have a real, I mean real selection of ales on site, 3 draught & many special bottles available to choose from. The patio area looks like a dreamers retreat with flowers & colour from every corner & a sea view to die for. The new chef in charge "Matt" has pulled out all the stops to give us a wonderful experience in this blossoming public house & with more changes in the pipeline I can only hope for more of the same on my next visit to the bud in brightlingsea.
