| Only one expereince of the Chapel Inn so far, on a sunday afternoon in winter after a cold and icy walk.We had booked a table for eight for lunch, and the pub was not at all busy. On asking for a tea,as it was cold, I was told "we dont do tea, the machine is not set up for tea!!!!!!" I would have liked one before going on to beer later.Have they not heard of a kettle? Asking for a starter to come up at the same time as the others' main meals as I did not want a main, I was told they come up as they come up. We did not hang around after the meal, which was very nice, but found a friendlier pub in the village , of which there are plenty. I will give this pub another chance but my first impression was not an ideal venue. OK pubs are not the first place you would expect to get tea, but I do think they need to cater for customers if they want them to come back, especially where there are other pubs in the same village providing the service.
