| We have visited this restaurant several times and each visit just gets better. Food is always superb, service is brilliant and the staff are always friendly and do everything that they can for you. It is a very well run restaurant and the "front of house" ladies are constantly checking that everything is working like clockwork and that all their diners are happy. We have never heard a complaint and everyone seems to leave extremely happy and well fed. We have introduced many of our family and friends to this great dining experience. | Went for dinner last Saturday evening and had a fabulous meal. Have worked in the hospitality trade for sometime and could not fault the quality of the food or the service. There was a substantial specials list with lots of fresh fish which was delicious and cooked perfectly. Only slight down point was that we were one of the first tables in there and we could possibly have done with some background music as we felt we had to whisper a bit until other diners joined us. However I would highly recommend the George and Dragon for a sophisticated dining experience. | The G&D goes from strength to strength. Although at times can offer a fairly limited menu choice; food is extremely fresh and expertly prepared with steak and fish dishes of particular note. Service is very professional and extremely friendly.
