| This pub really knows it's a pub, firmly a 1970's type of pub it's like going to visit an old friend. The landlord and landlady give a quiet, warm welcome to all their customers while serving well kept and well served beers. Conveniently placed for a long country walk, it is a good spot to end up after trekking a few miles across rolling land. The pub serves good, solid food that will suit most people. | Lovely country pub at the edge of the countryside - great for walkers to end their walks! Friendly landlord and landlady - great beers and home cooked food always freshly prepared. Quiet, homely, quite small and like being in your own front room - lovely atmosphere and their monthly quizzes are a must! Great to go and chat in, a real "local".
