| What a find! Just had 2 nights B&B here and have to say it was one of the nicest pubs we have stayed in. The staff were very kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It has four good size ensuite rooms and a nice atmosphere : the food was excellent, especially the cooked breakfast! | A group of 9 of us were in on a quiet Monday night, round by the pool table not causing any trouble nor in anyones way. 2 of the 9 didnt fancy a drink and were called 'Prettyboys' by the landlord and told to 'f*** off' if they didnt buy a drink. And I may add that many of us had more than one drink, more than covering the 9 of us. And to our shock of being sworn at, we walked out. A previous visit also included a female bartender snatching a 50p from me which was previously given to me by the landlord because it was an old 50p. All in all, pretty gruesome hospitality, not a nice place to visit, pub down the road a lot nicer.[Report for Removal] | Paul Manningtree Essex |

| Stayed overnight on 24th November. absolutely super in fact there was 5 of us and no complaints whatsoever. Cheerful staff and excellent food the breakfast was Desperate Dan size. | Love the new interior, very classy and food was good pub grub. Didn't recognise it as the white hart in Manningtree from the pictures on http://www.whitehartmanningtree.co.uk/ so went to check it out. A big improvement.[Report for Removal] | Harold Smith Lawford Essex |
