| I visited the Saracens Head this Tuesday with my family to celebrate my aunties birthday. I ordered the curry but never expected to get delhi belly in this country! The food was presented nicely but had clearly been frozen and reheated (possibly more than once). A few hours later and I was spending the whole night on the toilet. | I am not sure which Saracens Head the other people went to but i have eaten at this pub at least 10 times over the last year......... and its now November 2010 and I have never.... had a bad meal and always enjoyed the best ofervice..............in fact the service and food are better than anything i have had down in Kent. | my mum took my nan and grandad for what was supposed to be a really nice lunch for my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary!! grandad chose this as has had some lovely meals in the past, and didnt want anything to fancy. To cut a long story short the landlady was incredibly rude, the staff were miserable and the customer service was apalling, one waitress barged past my nan and nearly knocked her flying. Not happy at all and would not ever recommend this pub to anyone, In this current climate they can obviously afford to lose customers.[Report for Removal] | nikki ipswich suffolk |

| We went to the Saracens Head for Sunday lunch today and had a really good meal. My only comment being that the sweet menu gave no prices, but quite honestly the food was so good I can't complain. It was good to eat freshly prepared home cooked food that didn't come out of a deep freeze or boil in the bag. You need a big appetite to finish![Report for Removal] | Biscoe Ipswich Suffolk |

| I visited the Saracens Head today to buy some Christmas drinks for some work customers. I purchased 6 drinks and a couple of packets of crisps and was charged £32.30. I thought this sounded a lot considering one of the drinks was a coke, so politely asked the landlady if she could give me a breakdown for my work expenses. She did this very reluctantly under great duress and I discovered that she had overcharged me by £11! I jokingly said "I think I deserve a pint on the house!!" and was told in front of customers "not in my pub, if you don't like it f*** off". I have never been spoken to like this before and would warn people to check their receipts and go elsewhere if you want some customer service.[Report for Removal] | Simon Weir Colchester Essex |
