| I would rather sit on a park bench in the freezing cold for a drink then go to the kings head again. We went to the pub on a sunday night for a quiet drink, two minutes after arriving we were insulted by one of the "locals" who accused us of stealing half a pint of lager which was sitting at the other side of the bar. People were in there smoking (after the ban) and others were using extremley foul language the "c" word at the top of their voices. The landlord was working behind the bar as drunk as a skunk, everytime we went to the bar for a drink we were waiting for well over five minutes, with people being constantly served before us, when we said that we were here first, we were told no you were not (refering to the locals). Then the final straw came at 10:30pm when the landlord came over to us and said you better drink your drinks and leave or you wont be coming in here again, while there were plenty of people around us with full glasses. Also as we were leaving we had to endure snide comments from the people drinking in there. (all of this behaviour was completley un-provoked we were just sat at a table having a quiet drink) so in conclusion if you want to go to a place were you are going to be insulted by narrow minded people who believe that the world is centered around tollesbury, go to the kings head.... if you want to have a nice evening GO ELESWHERE![Report for Removal] | j cuffe tollesbury essex |
