| Having work myself in the catering industry for over 15 years I came across last Sunday to the this charming looking pub. Unfortunately, the reception was very unfriendly (we were refused to change our table when we realized that we were in the waitress way), then we waited well over half an hour for a "moules marinières" that came cold to the table, no dishes to put the empty shells and no finger bowl; and a "pan fried cod" which came poached, tasteless and looked more like a hospital dinned that a gastro dish. When sent back to the kitchen to have it pan fried, we were challenged by the owner that it was actually pan-fried and plonked the plate back in front of my partner. When she came back to us and ask if all was ok, she straight away walked away from us adding "obviously not". Her attitude to the customer was extremely unprofessional and it upsets me greatly to see the clientèle being treated that way and have to pay £20 plus for a meal that you haven' t enjoyed at all without even an apology (and we were not the only one). A great shame, a beautiful pub with a great view but with total disregard for costumers' request... a shame for all of us who are in the industry.
