| Ours was a lunctime visit but we were welcomed with great hospitality. Although a small selection of draught beers there was enough to suit most tastes. The food was well presented on hot plates. Overall we had a very pleasant experience. Thoroughly recommended. We even took their cards to circulate amongst our friends.[Report for Removal] | Brian Chappell Great Notley Essex |

| The Three Tuns is now under new ownership and has undergone a total refurbishment. Gone is the old cramped bar and in its place isa modern but stylish bar area with polished wooden floors and comfy soft leather chairs and sofas and an inglenook fireplace, and a beautiful dining area. The food is first class, fresh and homemade, with both old favorites and modern and inventive specials and is not at all expensive. There are few places where you can get an excellent fillet steak with all the trimmings for under £16.00 these days and this place is one of them! A comprehensive and inexpensive wine list compliments the food and Mike ( the Landlord) keeps a good cellar with three first class real ales. We were made extremly welcome here when we first popped in for a drink and returned to eat. This is a really good establishment and if you dont visit it you are definately missing out. | Superb pub in the beautiful village of Finchingfield. With 3 pubs to choose from I believe by far the best is the 3 Tuns, they have an excellent choice of local beers as well as the usual on tap lagers. The fridge is always well stocked with bottle beers and alcopops and even if your not a drinker will stretch to a tea or coffee! They also have excellent B&B facilities 3 en-suite and 1 annexe to cater for larger groups. Very friendly staff all local to the village a testament to the popularity of the pub.[Report for Removal] | Chris Shaw FINCHINGFIELD ESSEX |
