| I am completely baffled by the negative reviews of the Bakers Arms. I have visited several times since the refurbishment and the meals have been excellent. The staff are friendly and efficient and the dog is never allowed out until after food service is finished and only then after the land lady has checked that the guests are happy to have it in the bar. | I read Rogers review and have to agree with his comments, I did not see the pub dog but there was a distinct smell in the restaurant. Overall - poor meal - bad service, my friends and I will not be returning.[Report for Removal] | Yvonne Maldon Essex |

| The Bakers Arms as a public house used to be a friendly local in which everyone was welcome. It has turned into a low class eatery serving microwave and deepfat fried food. As much as I like dogs, I object to having the pub dog slobbering and leaving hairs on my clothes.I have used this pub a few times, but no more, the award of 1 star by the food hygiene standards was more than justified. I would like to comment on the Greene King beer a bit more positively but alas I feel that even that has gone down hill. Not reccomended. [Report for Removal] | Roger Chelmsford Essex |
