| The Ship is a great old pub with a good selection of traditional ales & excellent food. You can eat in the bar, or in the restaurant area. It has tasteful decor, and is perfectly presented. The staff are helpful & friendly, and the chef is most attentive to the satisfaction of patrons. The food is mostly locally sourced, and all items on the menu are home made & cooked to order. There is a good selection of daily food options too, with fish dishes a speciality. If you like good beer, a wide choice of food, including a few vegetarian choices, all served perfectly prepared & with a friendly smile, then you will not be dissapointed.
