| The menu is pretty uninspired and doesn't often change, and the drinks are very expensive. But the food is always hot and well presented. The saving grace of this pub is that it is such a lovely place to be with a pleasant beer garden surrounded by countryside; cosy inside in the winter with open fires and soft lighting, and cool in the summer with open french doors and flagstone floors.[Report for Removal] | Kate Chelmsford Essex |

| Worst meal I have ever had. My son took a family party of 7 on 27.05.07, not one good comment. Very embarrassing as some of the family came down from scotland, so we didnt want to make a scene.But I will be telling everyone we know about the very poor catering.
