| We often use this establishment as a place for the family to meet up. The food is great and the portions too large to eat. I have often suggested we try another venue for a change, but I am always out voted because of the quality,service and prices. | We have eaten and drank in most of the pub/restaurants in the Harlow/Sawbridgeworth/Bishop Stortford area and the Hand & Crown is head and shoulders above the rest! The food is always cooked fresh and tastes great, the service is also excellent! Andy and all the staff make you feel so welcome and add that extra special touch to the evening. | We have just come from a wonderful evening meal. The pub is a warm welcoming environment, no loud music and bright lights. The staff are very professional but very customer focused. The service has the personal touch, even for a first visit we were made to feel like regulars. As for the food, absolutely fantastic. Large portions both in starter and main course, shame we had no room for desert! Prices are excellent and the food is well presented. We highly recommend this pub to all.
