| Service very slow, expect main course to take over an hour while staff eagerly try and flog you as many drinks as they can...if you want a nice piece of fish - forget it here, DON'T order the Haddock, A huge piece of fish will arrive on your plate, closer inspection reveals all - nothing more than a Sardine size piece of boney haddock coated in masses of batter on a bed of chips ! (make that a small single bed) This wannabe Gastro pub is a complete rip off with 10% service charge if you please - do me a favour luv. I wont waste my time going there again - shame that I didn't read the many other terrible reviews off the web before parting with my hard earned - This used to be a nice little pub - hope for their sake that Gordon Ramsey doesn't pop his head in. | lovely local pub and restaurant with excellent food and even better staff. All staff are very welcoming and helpful and are extremely competant in their roles. Having dinned there on several occasions with small as well as large parties I have observed the staff who are very attentive and will go out of there way to provide customer satisfaction. | Went here for a meal the other day and had to walk out before our food arrived. As soon as we sat down we ordered a bottle of wine. 15 minutes later the wrong bottle turns up, so we point to the correct one on the menu and send the waitress on her way. Another 15 minutes later another bottle of wine turns up, again totally wrong. By now we had ordered our food but seeing as they couldn't even get the bottle of wine right after 30 minues we weren't even going to attempt the food so we walked out.
