| Went today Sunday 16th September for lund with my brother and sister in law from California having been several time before. However on this particular visit the service was appauling - had to wait 1hour and 20mins for the food to arrive. The food is not an issue here - it is good pub grub, however the attitude by the landlady?.. is most unprofessional. She was very defensive and abrupt when it was mentioned about the time we had to wait. The rest of our group had also waited over 1 hour but had finished their food before we recieved ours. I also noted that a party of people that appeared to be friends of the said lady where served almost straight away. As we left other customers were complaining about the time they had waited. We have been several times before and taken/recommended it to family and friends, however we won't be going back and will pass the word around. We felt upset about the staff attitude and this spoilt our meal. At home my eldest daughter said her friend to whom she had mentioned the Raven had also had a similar experience.
