| This is NOT a child friendly pub. No matter what they say, they are not. I was thrown out of this pub before I got to finish my meal I had PAID for because my child wouldn't stop crying. I tried everything I could to calm my child down (keeping in mind he is only 16 months old) however he is going through his tantrum phase right now and wouldn't calm down. I was rudely told my a member off staff that I had to leave and that my child's behaviour was unacceptable. He is 16 months old! I later went onto a Radio station to speak about my horrible experience at this pub and the Lighthouse replied that I did not take responisibilty for my child. Which is funny, considering this certain member of staff didnt even see everything that had happened. All in all this is terrible and not a family friendly pub.. they tell you to leave because your child is crying, REFUSE you a refund, and then pass judgement on your parenting skills. | I visited on 29th of november,2009{derby day}. The toilet's were disgusting.One lot had a blockage,another was flooded with toilet paper all over the floor and this was just the men's. my wife went the ladie's and it was locked. she then went to the one in the bar area and one was out of order and they were in a terrible mess.One pub i will never visit again.
