| This castle is amazing,but the decor is old and needs updating but updating the pub would be like barring old mick henry. Good luck to the new owners who took up a battle on the 26th Jan 2008. They promise sky, rock entertainment, new fridges and tvs. The new scottish owners boast 35ml meausures, but are expensive with the soft drinks, (ie J2O £1.90 & Pint of coke £2.50) Great regulars, mad mick, john the beast, and the original stinky. Thank god that Big Phil has gone he drank all the vodka which upset the vodka drinking customers. He will be sorely missed by all though dispite his split personalities, and his ability to lose his shoes constantly. Any one that knows Phil will understand this. Big thanks to Clive (the viking) who swims through 18 pints of guiness a day, Old moaning Mick for keeping everyone annoyed and angry, (love ya Mick) you dodgy b*****d, Vodka Tony, john the beast with his shocking revalations and occasional cross dressing, and countless more regulars, even the dog Dozer, even though you never really knew if it was the blocked drians that stank or dozer. All staff will be missed too, Racheal, Pauline, Sarah, Heather and Paddy. A great pub with a great atmosphere, and great regulars. [Report for Removal] | Big Phil & Co Wallasey Wirral |
