| Good day to all. Recently my brother Andrew and I sampled the Bird in Hand for an afternoon while visiting from Canada. Our Granddad Thomas Dodd, Great Granddad Joesph and possibly our Great, Great Granddad Samuel were all patrons of the Bird in Hand. As it turned out, they knew a thing or two about pubs. Excellent brews, simply outstanding food, and a publican who was not only friendly but helpful as well. Sadly, we had a train to catch or we might be there yet. Highly recommended.
