| This Victorian gem is often described as a step back in time. The smallish bar features bare wood floor (often coated in sawdust),and a ships wheel and compass and many pictures betray the city's links with its nautical and industrial past.Full of character, excellent Brain's beers, friendly (if occasionally eccentric!!!) locals and an excellent landlady. 60's and 70's music predominates on the jukebox to add to the time warp experience. The best little pub in Cardiff and probably the last near the city centre to remain relatively untouched. Sadly it looks earmarked for demolition. Enjoy it before it is too late.[Report for Removal] | Jon bridgend glamorgan |
