| Visited 2 days after Christmas for lunch. The pub was busy but we all 4 had good food, service was fine in a 'typical pub' atmosphere (sadly being lost in so many pubs these days) and good choice of real ales too. [Report for Removal] | Steve Hipkin Shepreth Cambs |

| Avoid the expensive 'open sandwich' - cheese and pickle variety. This consists of two great doorsteps of dry white bread - one covered with grated cheddar, the other covered with lettuce and a little bit of tomato and yellow pepper. A little pot of pickle, no butter and no salad dressing. Yummeee. And if you ask the surly barman for butter he'll slam it down on your table as if this were a well-known no-butter establishment. Service with a snarl.[Report for Removal] | Peter Cox Bury St Edmunds Suffolk |
