| I did not eat in this Inn as my interest was in their selection of real ales which are straight from the barrell which are on view directly in front of you. Although I consider the bar area on the small side their beer was of good standard and came from several East Anglian Breweries, Ive been here on several occasions and there is normally beers from three different breweries. There is parking to the rear. It is off the beaten track but is easy to find if you travel on the A1307 Cambridge/Haverhill road and turn off at Linton towards Linton Zoo/Saffron Walden and just follow this road for about 2-3 miles and you pass it on a sharpe left bend (Pub directly in front of you) , otherwise you travel from Saffron Walden on Little Walden/Linton road. | Although the prices are quite high, the food is excellent value and very well presented. The fish and chips is superb with a very light, crispy batter. The sweets look gorgeous but you may not have room! Staff are helpful and the family room is very comfortable.
