| The New Inn is now owned and run by Nathan Muir,the proprietor/chef of Robin Hoods Retreat and has taken on the mantle of gastro pub. A lot of money has been spent and it certainly has been transformed to a good class pub serving above average food. I have given it a lukewarm rating because there is no consideration for wheelchair-bound clientel (I am able-bodied.) Not only are there no appropriate toilet facilities, the 2 steps from entrance to restaurant area, combined with heavy furniture will make life quite difficult for both the disabled customer and 'carer'.
