| Just returned from this pub after sunday lunch. My husband had booked a table for 1.30. When we arrived,we where told that our table was still in use....So we sat down & waited,not very long I must add. We where seated at 1.45. At 2.55 our dinner arrived! We had to go & pick someone up from Bristol airport & I was just ready to go back home for a much needed sandwich,when our dinner arrived. Food was good & plenty of it.But the long wait was unacceptable. When we left the girl on the till told us there where many food orders...We have visited many pubs over the years that have been extremely busy,but have never had to wait as long as this! This is'nt a one off..we had an evening meal last week and where told there was a wait of half an hour.In fact it was well over an hour,before we where served our food.
