| went with a group of 6 on a saturday afternoon, Was greated by a man in the garden who was very rude and said 'WE DONT OPEN TILL 12', We sat in the garden that was very nice and waited. Dooes opened at midday, we all ordered, we got told that they wont open a tin of bake beans for ONE person. The jacket potato with beans and saussages that cost £5.95 was just tinned beans and saussages. ( not really what was expected for the price) One lady in the group who was not eating asked for tap water and was told she could not drink it on the premisis !!!! WHAT !!!! and ONE tin of beans was shared between 5 people. Could not beleive the attadued of the lady behind the bar terrible. | Lovely and blissful location,just of the main street down by the church.Plenty of parking,Beer gardens,and a nice olde worlde interior.Spotlessly clean and, tidy. Excellent homemade food,nothing is too much for the Landlady Sylvia a fine host and deservedly so..Always a nice greeting and,warm welcome..Parties and, Marquee type functions avaliable in this beautiful setting.If you haven,t tried this pub,your missing a treat indeed..[Report for Removal] | JAMES WESTHEAD Bristol North Somerset |
