| The owner/manager was so arrogantly rude to me today in front of friends and family that I will never go again - I recommend no-one else does either. I walked down from morning coffee to the car and was immediately accosted and ordered out of the car park as I tried to refresh our dog. Unbelievable. DON'T go there - she is foul. | The Salthouse pub is the best pub in clevedon i visit often especialy on band nights let me say the pub rocks sometimes its hard to get served on band nights but i suppose any busy pub you have to expect this. I eat there occasionally and have always found the food of good quality and although sometimes you have to wait its well worth it. Its very clean and got amazing veiws i have always found the staff freindly and there is a great selection of every thing i require. | I regulary visit the Salthouse. I find the food excellent and the beers are served of a high standard. The staff are all very friendly and offer fast and efficient service. | The Salthouse Clevedon. Avoid- Poor food, bad service - in fact fucking shoddy all round. Had a bad greasy meal at The Salthouse recently. Was on a table of six. Placed an order and 50 minutes later 2 meals came. Then 4 more ten minutes later. When we had tried to complain (in a queue behind A LOT of others)we were fobbed off. Not ok with being treated like subhumans, and having being forced to pay up front, we were forced to wait a further 45 minutes to see the manager, and when we eventually were blessed with her sweating, cheap peoxide, fat, ugly, monosyllabic, stumpy prescence, we were agressively abused. | I've eaten here any nunber of times, they serve up food that isnt your usual pub grub with an imaginative menu, and at times an extrodinarily contemporary Specials board. i must confess that i have waited for food, but i have been assured this is because its is all freshly made to order, and i must agree the meat and fish are always fresh and ive never been served overcooked food. i must compliment the staff as well, the setup itsnt the easiest, but they still manage to provide a polite and helpful service. as far as the bar goes, they have a fine selection of wine and a selction of local ales.[Report for Removal] | Barry Hughs Clevedon North Somerset |
