| We visited this establishment at Sunday lunchtime with friends. I, a vegan, gave the menu a quick once over and did not really see a great deal that I could eat. I approached the host to ask some advice. As soon as I mentioned the word vegan he pulled a face and before I had even finished speaking he said "there's nothing for you!" When I tried to verify that their soup had cream in it he replied "yeah, it's CREAM of mushroom soup" I walked away and returned to my table. My boyfriend (who is a chef) was horrified that they were so unwilling to even suggest amending something on the menu and that they were so unhelpful and quite rude! The guy who took the order did actually go to the chefs in the kitchen to investigate further. I ended up with a bowl of chips for my sunday lunch.
