| We went to this pub on 17th Oct 2009 at lunchtime to celebrate my mothers birthday. It was quite quiet at the time. We ordered drinks, two baguettes and one soup. Some 40-50 mins later when everyone else had been served, we asked a member of staff if we had been forgotten. He flew into a rage, shouting at us saying that everyone orders hot meals and he wasn't going to stop reheating food to prepare our sandwiches. He was extremely aggressive and said to us " and that's just the way it is". He turned out to be the chef " Phil". There was no one to complain to and we couldnt eat our food when it eventually came as we were too upset. It completely ruined my mother's birthday. I burst into tears and had to leave. My parents paid the bill and left. I emailed them my comments on 20th Oct but they haven't had the decency to reply. NEVER AGAIN. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE.
