| We had read so much about this pub and its many awards but have to say were very disappointed with a lunchtime meal. It was only beer battered cod with chips and the fish was OK but frozen chips which were overcooked. I asked for a salad garnish instead of mushy peas and got the unpeeled top cut off a red onion amongst a few leaves and the fish had been laid on top of the chips. It felt as if it had all been chucked together. The service was very basic - no one asked us if everything was OK or if we wanted a dessert. [Report for Removal] | Anne Griffiths Yeovil Somerset |
