| Pub changed hands on 11th february 2009 and the lease has been brought by village locals.After a deep clean of all aspects we have now reopened the kitchen and employed a full time chef,who is receiving compliments daily from locals and passing trade alike.The cellar and beer lines are now in good condition and we have been visited by the guiness rep who gave us very favourable comments on the beer quality, as did a senior director of one of our real ale suppliers. All the locals have given us favourable and constructive comments on our efforts, which we will be building on. The last few years have not been good for this pub, but that's in the past.
