| This is now a very well run community pub serving excellent home cooked food. The steaks are cooked on the Black Rock Grill and are of excellent quality. Richard & Helen have completely turned around what was a down trodden drugs den into a comfy, friendly inexspensive old fashioned pub. They serve real ales direct from the cask and have been entered into the good beer guide in less than 1 year of trading. I come here all the time and love it. | RICHARD AND HELEN HAVE TURNED A GROTTY OLD PUB INTO A PLACE OF ENJOYMENT.WE HAVE EATEN IN THE PUB SEVERAL TIMES AND HAVE FOUND THE MEALS SUPERB BOTH IN QUALITY AND QUANTITY.WE WOULD NOT HESITATE IN SENDING ANYONE TO THE MASONS.THE STAFF HAVE ALWAYS BEEN FIRST CLASS NOTHING TOO MUCH TROUBLE. | Grotty Pub, Don`t even think of eating here. Terrible homemade night club at rear attracting already drunk youth to vandlise the area and the music is very load and has no respect for the other residents mainly elderly in this quite town area.
