| We arrived right at the end of lunchtime service and had a warm welcome from the bar to be told that they would happily take a late lunchtime order from us. We ordered one adult's and one child's ham and eggs, and one light lunch bite of warm pigeon breast with sun dried tomatoes and black pudding. Both dishes were delicious and thoroughly enjoyed. We really enjoyed the hospitality of the staff in an extremely relaxing setting and even had the large woodburner in the smaller back bar lit for us due to our little girl being slightly cold! Being local we look forward to coming back to sample the dinnertime menu with adult company. In all a pleasant time was had by both adults and children alike. The Full Moon is a warm rustic country pub set in a stunning location. Its strength lies in the fact that it serves delicious food at very reasonable prices in a warm setting, putting to shame the lamentable standards of another pub very nearby. | Nobody at bar upon arrival and was at least 10 minutes before we were spotted, let alone served. 5 tables eating (us included) out of a possible 20 or so in the bar area (there is a small side restaurant and function room to the rear which were both empty). Good choice of wines and the food is good - but be prepared to pay over the odds. Shame as location is excellent and pub has lots of potential.[Report for Removal] | Foodie Frome Somerset |

| Despite booking in advance we had to chase up a menu after 45 mins. Then shown to a table where the previous diners remains were still there despite a table already set up next to it. My partner had to get his own chair. No apologies as to why we were treated like this. Cannot comment on the food as we left. My birthday dinner ruined.
