| The new(ish) owners have transformed this from a place you would cross the road to avoid into a really decent pub. It has been completely redecorated and the previously unused courtyard has been turned into areally attractive outdoor space where we frequently take lunch in the summer. The food is good and good value and, whilst there could be a wider choice of real ales, the drinks are well kept. Staff are polite and helpful and the owners make a real effort to please.
