| We have used this pub for several years and on Saturday we asked the bar person if there was anything she could do to stop the noise of the chidren playing on the gambling machine with their Father as we were having difficulty hearing each other speak. The Lady said she was the manager and she made the decisions over who comes in and what time they go. We were under the impression children were only allowed into bars if they were eating and only until 9.00pm. The manager was very rude and shouted she was the manager and made the decisions. After being spoken to so rudely all four of our party left and took our business elsewhere. We left around 6 people in the bar on a Saturday night, this just shows how bad the atmosphere is.[Report for Removal] | Mick Birmingham West Mids |

| My partner and i have been regulars in the bar at this pub for the past 30 years. Just lately service in the bar has become very poor, we, and many other locals have to wait many minutes to be served. In addition the promotions are very misleading. My partner regularly drinks wine and often orders a bottle. The poster in the pub states quite clearly 'buy two glasses of wine and get the bottle free'!!! Tonight, however, we were informed that we had to ask for the bottle before we ordered!! that is not what the poster says. READ AGAIN - BUY TWO GLASSES OF WINE AND GET THE REST OF THE BOTTLE FREE!!! - We ordered one glass of wine - then a second, but we didn't order the whole bottle so we didn't get the rest free. Very poor publicity; and service. After thirty years of frequenting bank's pubs, in particular the Cobham arms, we will no longer. Talk about petty!!!!!!
