| Myself and my fiance visited this pub on Sunday 1st November 2009 in the early evening. Things got off to a bad start when they did not have several of the beers/ciders we wanted. We were seated quickly. We had the carvery and I was quite disappointed with the little amount of meat I was given considering I was only having two out of the four meats available. The cauliflower cheese had no cheese on it all and there was no apple sauce left. Other than that the cavery was adequate. The service by our waitress was non existant. We were not asked if we wanted a starter and throughout and after our meal we were not asked if we wanted a drink which is unacceptable. We had to ask the manager for our bill, as we got fed up of waiting for the waitress. Do not think it is worth £8.50 per head at all. Also,the whole time we were there, there were a lot of children screaming and running around. Hardly relaxing! The decor was nice.
