| had evening meal here in Aug 2008 after lloking at menu on internet. menu presented to us bore no resemblance! Chose devonshire crab salad - crab was still icy cold - think it had been frozen! Was almost too cold to eat and centre of crab was nearly frozen. No taste, poor quality. When asked by waitress if everything was ok I commented on how cold the crab was and landlord came over to ask what was wrong with it. He said it hadnt been frozen and it was fine. Then heard him discussing our conversation with other customers at bar and having a real laugh at my expense! bad food, rude and poor service - certainly could not recommend this pub to anyone!
