| My party of 4 visited this pub for evening meal Saturday 14th November 2009. It has recently had a very well designed face lift. We booked for 7pm and when we got there, it was extremely busy. We were seated at a table in the bar area where we had to wait until a waitress remembered to venture out of the restaurant side. The main constituents of the dishes we ordered i.e. the meat pie and fish pie were of reasonable standard, but the vegetables were obviously over prepared as they were soggy and tasteless.
