| Went for a family birthday. Nice decor, busy but service was reasonable. Unfortunately, that's more than can be said for the food. Starter of roasted mushrooms appeared to be nothing more than fried mushrooms on toast in a washy cream sauce. Ladies present thought their goats'-cheese-stuff chicken was good, but the gentlemen's three medium steaks were poor quality meat and poorly cooked. On the rare side, which highlighted the stringy, fatty nature of the product. I can do better with a hot grill and a £2.50 steak from Tescos and it doesn't cost £15. On the other hand, wine selection was reasonable with normal prices. Dessert (chocolate pudding) was solid but not spectacular. | Nice decor and friendly atmosphere. Greeted immediately upon arrival by friendly staff and looked after well throughout our meal despite the fact that it was really busy! Food was really good and we'd definitely visit again. [Report for Removal] | Sue Dunstable Beds |

| Good decor, menu good but not as well cooked as others in the chain. The service is diabolical, after the first time determined not to visit again but was taken there as a treat by my daughter, the second time the service was even worse.
