| The Lethan or "Lethal" as the locals like to call it is a dive. There are always people fighting - usually the women and everyone is going with everyone. The afore mentioed women (Linda Stewart)usually take their kids along and you will find a whole group of them in and out of the pub come wind rain or shine. | 10 years ago this was a family well run pub at the heart of the community. Over the past couple of years it has changed hands several times, becoming less of a community pub each time. If you support RANGERS,are a skinhead or looking for no strings female company then this is now the pub for you, even the females! wear rangers tops (sorry this is not a dig at female football supporters just the females! of this pub). There are always kids running around inside and out mostly unsupervised,. Pub has recently come under new management, hopefully they will turn pub around (personally I think first thing to do is ban all supporters tops being worn in pub, they have no place outside a stadium). Pub has potential to be a little gold mine at heart of Portlethen community, but it needs some radical changes as just now if you were not already one of the regulars you would feel intimidated by regular patrons.
