When Arkell's purchased The Crown Inn in 1986 it acquired a former free house with an enviable reputation among drinkers and diners alike. Close to one of Wiltshire's historic white horses at Hackpen, it is easily found, just off the main Swindon-Devizes road. Undeniably pretty on the outside, The Crown Inn is just as attractive inside.
