The Red Lion is a delightful pub & restaurant nestling in the heart of Brightwell cum Sotwell, one of Oxfordshire's most beautiful villages. Voted South Oxfordshires 'Pub of the Season' for autumn 2008 by CAMRA and is included in the 2009 CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Whether you pop in for a quick drink, or a meal with friends, you can be sure of a warm welcome from owner Sue Robson and her friendly team of bar and restaurant staff.
In the light, airy bar you can enjoy a wide range of traditional beers and fine wines available by the glass. Whilst in the kitchen, Sue and her team prepare mouth-watering dishes using the best local produce wherever possible. Or why not just pop in for a quick coffee, a chat and one of Sue's famous pastries, or a sandwich made with her home made bread. During the summer months you can sit outside at the front and watch the world go by, or relax in the beautiful Mediterranean style garden at the rear.
