The pub is built on land which was used for hunting by King Henry VIII and local legend has it that it is here he trysted with Ann Boleyn during the many years they were not permitted to marry. The Oatlands Chaser was first known as The King’s Manor Hotel, which is testament to the pub’s connection with Tudor royalty. Weybridge offers many attractions including Elmbridge Museum which has a host of exhibitions and archives. Cliff Richard fans will enjoy a wander round the town as he owns a property there and has often been spotted around the Weybridge area. An unusual claim to fame is part of the first racing track in England and the oldest air booking office in the world still remain at Weybridge. A museum of motor racing and aviation stands at the site. Guests will be able to browse a new menu which includes a wide variety of freshly prepared classic pub dishes such as Slow Cooked Shoulder of Lamb, daily fresh fish dishes and Homemade Pie of the Day. There is also a separate lunch menu offering freshly made sandwiches and salads, perfect if you’re just nipping in for a quick bite. Look out for the blackboard showing today’s specials, and the thoughtfully selected range of delicious vegetarian options. There is an extensive wine selection to compliment the menu as well as a variety of continental lagers. There is no need to book, just come in and we'll look after you. The Oatlands Chaser boasts a stylish interior which adds to the traditional charm and character of the building. Follow this road for a mile and at next 2 roundabouts go straight on to Walton. At station turn off turn left and then first right onto Oatlands Drive, pub is on the right.
