| we where in the stamford arms in dec 08 for a caberet evening with comedians star stan boardman fantastic evening i was also at a funeral of a relative there in nov 08 the buffet was excepsional and the room and service was very very good we are also going with a party in late feb 09 to see the eccles borough band in concert in there funtion room i would stronly recomend a visit to this place nice people and nice staff[Report for Removal] | peter dodds sale cheshire |

| Had cause to visit this public house following the funeralof a friend. Service can only be described as apalling. Staff were totally unprepared for the arrival of the mourners who in turn had to rally the staff in order to furnish the pre-booked room.
